2026 plans

We will not have kittens ready until Fall 2026.

-WAITLIST IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

2027 BREEDING PLANS

Hoping for successful breeding for kittens to rehome in Spring 2027 (waitlist closed until further notice. We might re-open in september 2026) and then hoping to breed again for kittens ready to go home in late fall/winter 2027.

2028 PLANS TBD in 2027.

Our waitlists fill VERY FAST! Following directions on FAQS /waitlist page, sharing about yourself, and being willing to wait for quality kittens is key.

We do not breed year round. We only plan for a few litters a year.

Each litter takes roughly 6 months of planning/dedication. We encourage families to plan ahead and be prepared for a minimum 6 month wait. Often times the wait could be closer to 9-16 months.

BLH wait times are sometimes shorter. However, its is a recessive gene from both parents so sometimes we have many and sometimes we only have a few.

Cinnamon is VERY popular right now. Wait times can reach close to 12-18 months. There is a difference between chocolate and cinnamon. Chocolate (and lilac : genetically dilute chocolate) is often times our most common color that we have here at Prim and Proper. Cinnamon is the lighter color that looks exactly like the spice . Chocolate is deep rich -like a hershey chocolate bar. There are shades of darker and lighter chocolate. Do not confuse with Cinnamon (the reddish cinnamon tint)

Boys and Girls are equally as affectionate and sweet. Some of our most cuddly cats and prior kittens have been girls.

It is INCREDIBLY RARE for us to have any immediate availability. I do not advise on waiting for “left overs” as this never happens.

Sometimes we may have some BLH availability on short notice because we don’t keep this waitlist long as it is a recessive gene and we never know how many we will have. If we have more than we expected then we will have availability on shorter notice.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! We truly appreciate everyone!

Sincerely,

-Megan
